Charles Bridges

Chuck Bridges currently serves as Vice-President, Stakeholder Relations, for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. He was previously Vice-President (Assoc.), External Affairs, at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While at Saint Mary’s, Chuck helped guide the University through one of its most significant periods of growth and change. Under his leadership, Saint Mary’s public affairs, fundraising and alumni services team revamped its communications and branding efforts to better meet the needs of the University community, including students, donors, alumni, business partners, government and friends of the University.

Since 1996, he has been a part-time lecturer of Management at the Sobey School of Business, and in 2002 he was named the University’s Business Professor of the Year (part-time). He received the Distinguished Service Award from the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education, an Outstanding Contribution Award from the Commerce Society at Saint Mary’s and an Honorary Gold “M” from the Saint Mary’s University Students’ Association.

Mr. Bridges is also Vice-Chair, 2011 Canada Winter Games, which are to be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary's University.
