Elaine Phénix

Elaine C. Phénix holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours degree from the Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, fellowship credentials from the Canadian Securities Institute, and an ASC designation (certified corporate director) from the Collège des Administrateurs de Sociétés.

Ms. Phénix has over 25 years of experience in the Canadian capital market, especially as Senior Vice-President, Syndication at Lévesque, Beaubien, Geoffrion Inc. (now National Bank Financial Inc.) and Senior Vice-President, Capital Development at the Montréal Exchange. Since 1999, Ms. Phénix has been an assets management consultant for institutional and private clients and President of Phénix Capital Inc.

Ms. Phénix is a member of the boards of directors of private and public companies and associations and serves on several audit and governance committees. Ms. Phénix is a member of NSERC’s Executive Committee and its Committee on Research Integrity.
