The three federal granting agencies—the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada—have posted the 2013 Tri-Agency Financial Administration Guide on their respective Web sites. The guide is effective April 1 and supersedes all previous versions.
We invite you to review the Summary of Changes, which highlights the most significant updates. The 2013 version houses information previously found in the Memorandum of Understanding: Roles and Responsibility in the Management of Federal Grants and Awards, which was recently replaced by the Agreement on the Administration of Agency Grants and Awards by Research Institutions. It also provides links to the Tri-Agency Framework: Responsible Conduct of Research.
