This scholarship is automatically available to you if you are awarded an Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarship (CGS). If you are awarded a Postgraduate Scholarship (PGS) or you are not awarded an NSERC scholarship, the scholarship is awarded on a competitive basis. Vanier CGS recipients are only eligible to receive the research allowance.

These scholarships provide financial assistance to students working towards a master’s or doctoral degree in an ICT or Nanotechnology related field.

The payment of the scholarship is released by your host university. The stipend amount is paid on a monthly basis and the research allowance is a lump sum payment.
