Program transitions
As per Budget 2018, the Government of Canada committed to simplifying the landscape of federal grants in support of research and innovation to further accelerate the application of knowledge. It was proposed that NSERC’s Engage Grants (including Engage Plus Grants), Industrial Research Chairs, Connect Grants, Strategic Partnership Grants for Networks and Projects, Experience Awards, and the existing Collaborative Research and Development Grants be consolidated into a single grant program.
As we prepare for the launch of the new program, we aim to make the transition as seamless as possible for our community. Please consult the links below for information regarding the transition plans for each program. The College and Community Innovation(CCI) Program is not part of this consolidation.
