Mathematics and statistics institutes receive bridge funding from NSERC

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) is pleased to announce the results of the recent 2021 Discovery Institutes Support Bridge Funding Competition. The Canadian Statistical Sciences Institute (CANSSI) will receive $483,760 and the Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Sciences (AARMS) will receive $283,760. These grants will allow the institutes to continue providing an environment for researchers to accelerate research, develop partnerships and interactions with different disciplines and foster interdisciplinary research.
