NSERC is pleased to announce the successful projects of the NSERC-OCE TargetGHG Collaborative R&D Program to support academic-industry collaborations that will work to develop innovative technologies that have the potential to significantly reduce GHG pollutions in Canada. The projects were announced by the Government of Ontario on December 8 at Walker Environmental in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
This joint initiative with the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) enables technology development between postsecondary institutions and industry partners in support of Ontario’s 2020-2030 greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets. It also aligns with the Government of Canada’s commitment to developing innovative clean technologies that promote environmental sustainability. This initiative is an essential component of a broader OCE TargetGHG Program in partnership with NSERC and Sustainable Development Technology Canada.
