About Science, Action!

This special edition of Science, Action! is a video contest organized jointly by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and le Fonds de recherche du Québec – Nature et technologies (FRQNT).

We invite graduate students who are part of a team currently working on or who have worked on research funded through an NSERC or FRQNT research grant to submit a one-minute video showcasing the research supported by the grant.

Science, Action! will complement the celebrations of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development 2022. Your video must show the benefits of research in the fields of natural sciences and engineering and make the connection between basic sciences and the Sustainable Development Goals.

NSERC's Science, Action! video contest challenges members of the research community to film the people, research and innovations that are transforming the way Canadians live and work. This contest is your chance to help Canadians discover how science and engineering contribute to our understanding of the world and universe around us.
