The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) is pleased to announce funding of $24.75 million over six years for 15 research teams across the country through its Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program. The grants will support the careers of students and post-doctoral fellows as they develop research and other professional skills. Their areas of research range from additive manufacturing and autonomous vehicles to urban forestry and cannabis production.
“The multidisciplinary teams that CREATE supports provide outstanding mentoring and skills training opportunities. These complement the research training that students receive and position them well to succeed at the vanguard of Canadian science and engineering.”
– Alejandro Adem, NSERC President
